Matan’s 20251 Century Boulevard Recognized for Excellence in Recycling Achievement During 17th Annual Recycling Awareness Week
(http://www.montgomerycountymd.gov) – As part of Montgomery County’s 17th annual Recycling Awareness Week, the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) recognized outstanding achievements in recycling, waste reduction, reuse, buying recycled-content products, and educational efforts by local businesses, organizations, multi-family apartment and condominium properties, residents and individuals for their contributions to increase recycling. These efforts support the County’s goal to reduce waste and recycle 70 percent by 2020. Recycling more materials at home, work and school will ensure clean land, air and water for everyone living, working and visiting the County, and will encourage continued economic growth.
Among those recognized for their efforts in the business category was Matan’s 20251 Century Boulevard in Germantown.
Matan’s Property Management team takes great efforts to ensure a successful recycling program is in place at 20251 Century Boulevard in Germantown. In addition to providing labeled recycling bins to each tenant, Matan also places recycling bins in all public spaces in the building, such as in the café, for the use of tenants and visitors. Educational information is also provided to tenants regularly to maintain awareness.
