Matan Companies, one of the region’s premier commercial real estate and development firms, recently hosted a food drive for the Manna Food Center, a local non-profit organization striving to fight hunger and feed hope in Montgomery County. The drive, which was held from February 15^th – February 26^th at Matan’s 270 Corporate Center and Milestone Business Park properties, yielded a substantial donation wherein 1,188 pounds of dry and canned goods were collected for individuals and families in need.

The final donations of food were delivered last week to the Manna Food Center in Gaithersburg, MD. In total, over the past 8 years, Matan Companies has collected over 6,700 pounds of food for the Manna Food Center.

“Making a difference in our community is one of the core values of the Matan Companies,” said Priscilla Ford, Portfolio Manager. “Our tenants and employees are so incredibly generous, and for the 8^th year in a row our Food From the Heart Food Drive was a success because of their willingness to give.”
